The Computer Systems Laboratories are joint labs of the Departments of Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology located on the GCEW Campus in the Block A Building Headed by System and Network Administrator- Mr. Arif Ali Wani.

The Computer System Laboratories established in 2008 and it has grown to include 200 Computer systems with large number of software’s for our students. GCEW is recognized for its excellence; the faculty, research staff and students are widely known for their leadership in developing new ideas and trends in the design, organization, and use of computers.

Since its inception, the department has progressed with a vision and a strong commitment to developing competent programs, uncompromising standard of excellence and providing the state of art computing facilities and training to students. The department has well equipped computing laboratories with Intel Core Processor PCs and a rich repository of software covering a wide spectrum of applications.

  The Department has 10 Laboratories and Mr.Arif Ali Wani, System & Network Administrator and Lab In charges of CSE/IT Department is looking after all the Labs.

  Programming Laboratory-1 - provides access to Borland Turbo C++ and other compilers.
Programming Laboratory-2 - provides access to Oracle, Visual Basic, C++ and other compilers.
Multimedia Laboratory - provides access to multimedia tools and resources.
RDBMS Laboratory - provides access to Oracle, DB2 and other database platforms.
PC Hardware Laboratory- provides access to Assembling & Detail of Hardware Components.
Operating System Laboratory – provides access to Different types of Operating system like Linux, windows etc.
Web Development Laboratory- provides access to JDK, Adobe DW CS3 platforms.
Internet Laboratory - provides access to the following set of analysis tools.
Artificial Intelligence Lab – Provides Information system tools e.g. Prolog, LISP etc.
Project Lab – Provides latest research tool for working on Research Projects.
